BIOGRAPHY
Born in Jakarta (Indonesia), Niki Wonoto has always been such a huge music lover & fan ever since his childhood. He has always felt music in his veins, and as he grew up, the music is calling him louder and louder until he has eventually decided to dedicate his life for music.
Primarily a pianist who have been classically trained during his early childhood years, and later on self-taught himself other instruments as keyboard, synthesizer, guitar, bass guitar, and also on computer digital-sequencing, he is now a composer/songwriter for several unique creative music projects in the city, working mainly with new and upcoming talented artists. He is also very active in online collaboration projects with other overseas musicians such as from US, UK, China, etc. As well as composing for other high-demand music projects such as TV jingles, advertisements, for wedding, church music, and for many other uses.
Some noted music projects he has been working and contributing in the past includes but not limited to composing for TV shows, children-book products, a DARE plus anti-drugs social programs, church ministry, and he has also been writing/composing songs for some new potential indie bands, and also of his own band (which has won a number one position in Traxcoustic music award in year 2007).
Other than his in-demand projects & music collaborations online and offline, he is also currently working passionately for his own Solo music project, both instrumentals and also as a Solo singer/songwriter, and another interesting unique “Duo” project that will combine both aural and visual concepts that will be released hopefully very soon.
His motto for all his music activities and compositions has always been one only: to touch, inspire and connect other souls on this planet Earth through music. Through all of his flowing musical ideas and tunes, his ultimate best wish and goal is to be able to transform people’s lives with his music, to inspire meaningful changes. And that is how he know he has truly lived his Purpose during his stay in this physical earthly existence.
